When I first started, I spent months trying to “figure it out”. I was super motivated to find success, but no matter where I looked I couldn’t find the answers…..

After a few years passed, I moved to LA and began to meet the very people that inspired me to begin filmmaking. Naturally, I began to ask them how they built their career, & how they made it to where they were today.

The answers I got made me feel even more lost. Nobody really knew what they were doing. Some just said they “got lucky”, while most were actually in debt & constantly stressing about the next client or brand deal.

I knew that waiting to “get lucky” wasn’t something I wanted to bet my life on. I needed to find a system I could rely on…

So, I quietly stepped away, & spent years testing everything I could think of like a mad scientist.

It was a long & tough process, but I had to do it… Nobody knew the answers, so I was left to figure it out for myself.

I worked silently… Slowly and surely I started to figure things out. I finally started to figure out back end tactics for approaching brands, finding the right people to speak with, & creating systems where I didn’t have to look for clients… clients came looking for me.

As this unfolded, I instantly began landing more brand deals, bigger clients & I was even making over $30,000 a month selling my simple lighroom presets.

I spent a lot of my time traveling the world, & the best part was that I was able to do all of this without having any “influence” or a large audience on social media. All I needed was my camera, a computer, and internet connection.
